- The NC fall foliage 2013 color show is past peak for the elevations over 4,000 feet (such as Mt. Mitchell).
- The best place to see color for this weekend and next week will be at the 3,500 foot range (Grandfather Mountain and Chimney Rock State Park)
- The Asheville and Biltmore area should still be pretty this week.
- Southern mountains near Franklin and Sylva at the highest elevations have color and is spreading down to the lower elevations this coming week.
