The Nicholas Sparks book “The Longest Ride” is being made into a film and filming is going on now in Wilmington and Winston-Salem. Filming started in Wilmington on June 26, filming in Winston-Salem and at Wake Forest University will be in August. This is the latest Nicholas Sparks book to be filmed in NC. “The Longest Ride” movie is set to be released April 3, 2015. Cast include Scott Eastwood (son of Client Eastwood) as Luke, Britt Robertson as Sophia, and Alan Alda as Ira. It was a good book, should be a good movie with our North Carolina scenery!
