The owner of the Pisgah Inn along the Blue Ridge Parkway has reopened after he was forced to close his inn by the government shutdown. The inn is located on leased federal land from the NPS. The owner of the Pisgah Inn filed a legal complaint which he now has dropped. For dropping the complaint the US Dept. of Interior agreed to let him reopen the inn.Now the Pisgah Inn will stay open until the normal closing date of November 1. On October 4 the owner had to force all his inn guest to leave after being shutdown. Park rangers blocked the entrances to the inn. On October 5 protesters gathered at the inn to protest the closure.

Pisgah Inn Along Blue Ridge Parkway Reopens
